Wildlife

Wildlife Services Your Organization Provides

  • Emergency Wildlife Response
  • Responding to injured, sick, or distressed wild animals
  • Coordinating safe capture and containment in emergencies

Transport to Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators

  • Safely transporting wildlife to approved rehab centres unless safe for finder to transport
  • Working with partners like Procyon Wildlife and other sanctuaries

On-Scene Support for Public & First Responders

  • Assisting police, fire, and EMS with wildlife incidents
  • Helping remove hazards caused by wildlife in emergencies

Wildlife Safety Assessments

  • Assessing situations involving trapped, stranded, or displaced wildlife
  • Providing recommendations or taking action to ensure safe relocation

Reunification Efforts

  • Attempting to reunite healthy young animals with their parents when safe
  • Preventing unnecessary removal from the wild

Wildlife Collision Response

  • Assisting with animals injured by vehicles
  • Coordinating with authorities for road safety

Support During Natural Disasters

  • Helping rescue and relocate wildlife affected by storms, fires, or floods
